Peace for Families

The goal of ‘Peace for Families’ is to shed light on the issue of Domestic Violence, and its connection to all forms of violence we experience in our communities. Through this event, we will mobilize the community to take action by helping create an environment which supports healthy and strong families, with a focus on eliminating all forms of violence. We will start our march at the Courthouse Park at 5:30pm, and will end at the Merced Civic Center, Sam Pipes Room where a survivor will tell us about her personal experience with domestic violence, and how, with the help of Valley Crisis Center, she was able to change her life. This will be followed by refreshments featuring Panda Express. We welcome all community members and their families to attend!
