Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is an annual campaign aimed to promote awareness and educate communities on how to prevent sexual violence. This year, CARE's theme focuses on three main aspects of awareness and prevention UNITY, EMPOWERMENT & HEALING. Together we can unite in this fight to end sexual violence, we can empower survivors through their stories and our peers through education. Lastly, we can come together as a community by understanding the impact sexual violence has on survivors and their loved ones and learn ways to support one another in their journey of healing.
