Confidential Advocate Services

The Campus Advocate provides free and knowledgeable support services including:

  • accompaniment and transportation to medical exams including sexual assault forensic exams, law enforcement interviews, Title IX or student conduct meetings
  • accompaniment and transportation to court appearances
  • referrals to campus departments for employment, academic, and housing accommodations
  • crisis intervention and emotional support
  • safety planning
  • case management
  • emergency transportation
  • assistance with restraining orders
  • referrals to community resources
  • and more dependent on the needs of the survivor

All UC Merced survivors who receive services after hours and on weekends will receive follow-up services with the Campus Advocate.
